Edmonds artist Grace Willard creates fiber art pieces using handmade paper, technical drawing and embroidery techniques, and Donald Simpson shows his photography with his great appreciation for patterns, colors and vistas of the world.

Uptown Stroll

The day started off cloudy and rainy, but cleared up around noon. There was terrific music,food,conversation, and helpful volunteers. Overall it was a terrific way to spend a Saturday and see a lot of terrific art.

Auburn Art Rageous Festival

I will be demonstrating the creation of my paper-mache relief sculptures currently on display at Auburn City Hall.

Artist Trust / EDGE Program @ Centrum

Artist Trust is offering the EDGE program (a comprehensive program covering aspects of portfolios,marketing and communication, and business concerns for visual artists) twice this year in Port Townsend.
To mark the completion of my second internship with Artist Trust, I was granted the opportunity to coordinate Cycle A (July 5th-12th) of the program.
It was an amazing experience; I learned a lot of valuable information and had the opportunity to meet and work with 18 amazing visual artists.
Port Townsend is a gorgeous seaside town, and the week long residency was a terrific way to focus on my professional development as an artist.
